Side cover

The covers shown need to be removed to perform some of the maintenance jobs described in this chapter. Refer to this section each time a cover needs to be removed and installed.

To remove the cover

  1. Remove the seat.

  2. Remove the quick fastener A.

    The quick fasteners A are removed by pushing in the center pin and then pulling the fastener out.

  3. Remove the cover A.

    To remove the quick fastener B, rotate its screwed portion counterclockwise with a phillips screwdriver.

    Remove the quick fastener C while turning the ring counterclockwise.

  4. Remove the cover B.

To install the cover

  1. Install the cover B.

  2. Install the quick fastener C and quick fastener B.

    Turn the ring clockwise while pushing it, and then install the quick fastener C.

    To install the quick fastener B, set it with its screwed portion pulled out from the surface of the quick fastener, and then push it down to the surface.

  3. Install the cover A.

    The quick fastener A is installed by pushing out the center pin, inserting the fastener into the panel, and then by pushing the center pin flush with the fastener head.
